today was a very good day, I went to the gym and I broke a nice sweet, plus I "kind" of ate clean today....yeahhh!!! keep it up.

day 7 - Feb 12

Yesterday was a good day, wasn't a excellent day, but it was very good, and instead of playing down the day, because it wasn't excellent, I will congratulate myself, because it wasn't a bad day...i stayed around 2000 calories and I exercise, I don't know if I will be able to go to the gym today, I will start at 1, and is already 11, I definitely need to go tomorrow, here's my fit day journal.

How's my life

Good.Thanks for asking! it will be great someday and I am working for it to be soon!
I am working as a driver, picking people up and dropping them off Logan Airport here in Boston, I had a better job, but I quit, because I want to relocate to North Carolina, specifically Charlotte, so I don't want any strings attached. I didn't want to get a great job, and then leave...that's why a took an "ok" job, so I will be more incline to geta hella out of here!! when I get to Charlotte I will work harder on my profession, as well as going back to school, and trying to narrow down my ideas of opening my own business to one!, I get so many of them and that is really annoying it gets me sidetracked. my top ones, right now (subject to change) is granite countertop, health coffee/internet coffee place, and believe it or not, a shuttle van business, which is what i do right now, it seems to be a inexpensive start up bizz. oh well, Like a said, I really need to narrow it down. or give it a shot in each and every one, and sees what sticks, now if you ask me what's my passion, it will probably be something totally different and ridiculous expensive, that's why I need a Ladder Bizz to get there! my social life is very good, I love my wife and I love my kids, and couldn't ask for a better person to be by my side, she really completes me, and that makes me happy, I just need to show my wife, how much I love her more often...we need that, more time for ourselves, with the kids, sometimes is difficult, but i need to create that...every couple needs a bit time off from the kids, I am planning to do something special in this valentine's day for us...hopefully it pans out. financially? let's not go there ok! not just yet, but things will get better I know they will! spiritually, I need to get my butt to church and that's just that! it's been forever that I haven't been to church and that's not good, our soul needs healing too! and sometimes believing in something and following your religion is the answer for many problems that we have. also I really need to get organize and get to some of my side projects, like painting and drawing(which I already bought the equipment) and writing a movie script(which I already started).

that's all in a nutshell, what's happening to me, I will try to update that once a month. and this is my life compass topics.

Day 6 - Feb 11

Sorry I didn't get around to post these days, as per my new "mantra" I can't skip 2 days in a row without posting...it usually break my good habits...
anyways today is being a very productive day...I finally got around to work out since the beginning of my personal challenge, it was a good workout. Mychelyne went somewhere with the kids and I got to workout at home. I usually like to workout in the gym, but since today is very cold out and she took the car, I workout at home, and it was a good workout, I got to break a sweet, which is a good indication. is called the Marine Workout and is pretty straight forward, i did however modify a bit, since I did not have all the required equipment. I need to ENFORCE the habit to drink 8 glasses of water a day and to take my multivitamin and my Fish oil capsules, and since I am working as a driver I need to really watch my coffee intake and make sure I prepare my food instead of buying food in the road "which is usually JUNK!" well I am trying to follow the slim fast diet, but it lacks a little bit of real nutritional foods and plus they selling their "Peixe"... so most of the times what I eat during the day....is not exactly what I have post it in my weekly meal planner. ok here is my fit day journal.

Day 3 - Feb 8, 2007

Ok, yesterday was "ok" It wasn't the best day, but it was ok....I was pretty good in the morning, and the in the afternoon I had a burger, and ate late...yesterday was my first day at my new job...that's why I didn't felt the Slim Fast Cardapio, by the book...here is my fit day
oh one more thing, I am weighting today at 206.8lbs!! oh hoo...didn't do much work, but I'll definitely take the results!!!!

Day 1 - Feb, 06, 2008

THE YEAR OF YOU CHALLENGE - READY BY MEMORIAL DAY - MAY 26

Here's the deal, the next 52DC Challenge won't start until March 19, so I need to start this one by myself 'till it comes...enough procrastination... it's already Feb 06...and this is make it or break it for me...I need to get my $hit together. the only time that I consistently lost weight was when I followed the Challenge, I posted everyday in my Journal, and followed the Clean Eat meal plan, I know I have to get my butt in the Gym at least 4 times a week, I know how to eat clean, I just go to do it! my big thing is... if i don't plan my in anticipation what I am going to eat the next day, I eat more than I should, sometimes piging out like crazy, I need to have my week menu ready on sunday, and eat exactly what's on the menu... I like slim fast website, they have simple menus and is a easy to follow diet. I know, I know, we hate to use the word "diet", let's say eating habits. Anyways I think I will follow their plan, until I drop about 10 lbs...after that I will either switch to clean eating or the Abs diet...the thing is I need to have the menu ready, otherwise is disaster...and I like the slim fast, is easy and practice. but I'm going to keep writing on my fit day is basically the best out there.
so here is a bullet of things that I will have to do from now until I am happy with my weight.

have my weekly menu ready on the first day of the week
update my fitday EVERY DAY!
write my goals down either here or on my fitday and the time frame
go to the gym at least 4 times a day.
track my weight loss weekly, and measure my body every month.
count calories "at least for now"
use easy recipes when cooking
take a picture of myself EVERYDAY.
....and I'll update when I have new ideas
